At Big Shed, we provide more than just studio space. Our facilities are designed to support your
entire team, ensuring every production runs smoothly from start to finish.

Big Shed photographic hire studio aims to make sure your shoots run as efficiently as possible whilst also being an enjoyable experience.

There are fully fitted kitchens for food shots or catering, a “green” room for meetings (or just to chill).
And of course we have WiFi internet access as well as Macs should you need them.

We have a great location, large free car park (enough for cars, generators and catering vehicles all at once), large drive in access door, 2 studios with infinity coves – a unique overhead shot facility and lots more.

Big Shed can arrange most things for you, from models, stylist and make-up to props, set building and accommodation – all you have to do is ask. Big Shed holds extensive lighting, photographic and general equipment detailed below, all available for hire, please call for rates.
We can also arrange outside hiring of your required equipment list.

Kitchen Facilities

At Big Shed Studio, we’ve created a comfortable and fully equipped kitchen space to keep your cast, crew, and clients fuelled throughout the day. The kitchen features a barista-style coffee machine, kettle with a selection of quality teas, and plenty of space to prepare food or enjoy a break.
You’ll find two large refrigerators, a freezer, oven and grill, and a microwave—ideal for catering, storing refreshments, or cooking on site. We also provide plates, cutlery, and glassware, so everything you need is ready to go.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso or hosting a working lunch, our kitchen facilities make it easy to keep everyone refreshed and comfortable during your shoot.

Green Room

Our Green Room offers a calm, comfortable space for talent and crew to relax between takes. Thoughtfully designed with both comfort and practicality in mind, it’s the perfect spot to unwind, prepare, or take a quiet moment away from set.
The room features sofas and lounge seating, mirrors with good lighting for hair and makeup touch-ups, and convenient access to power points for phones and laptops. You’ll also find refreshments nearby, with our fully equipped kitchen just next door.
Whether it’s for cast prep, client viewing, or downtime between scenes, the Green Room provides a welcoming environment that helps everyone feel at home during the shoot

Make-Up Room

Our dedicated Make-Up Room is designed to give your hair and make-up teams the space and lighting they need to work comfortably and efficiently. Bright, well-lit mirrors and adjustable seating make it ideal for everything from quick touch-ups to full styling sessions. The room includes ample counter space, professional lighting, power sockets for styling tools, and comfortable seating for talent. It’s located conveniently close to both the studio floor and green room, making transitions smooth and time-efficient during busy shoot days. Whether you’re preparing for film, photography, or commercial work, our Make-Up Room provides a professional, private environment where your team can get everyone camera-ready.

Parking

Big Shed Studio offers ample on-site parking for cast, crew, and clients, making load-ins and shoot days simple and stress-free. Our private car park accommodates multiple vehicles, including large vans and production trucks, with easy access directly to the main studio entrance and loading bay. We also provide dedicated spaces for crew and clients, plus overflow parking nearby if needed. The site is easily accessible from major roads and motorways, ensuring a smooth arrival for everyone. Whether you’re arriving with kit, catering, or talent, parking at Big Shed is convenient, secure, and right where you need it.
